Tooth Colored Fillings
A composite, or tooth colored restoration, is often used to repair a tooth that is damaged by decay, cracks, fractures, or other disease. As composite materials are closely matched in color to natural teeth they are ideally suited for repairs of front teeth and other visible areas of the mouth.
- Chipped or fractured teeth
- Closing spaces between front teeth
- Decayed and worn teeth
A composite restoration is placed in a single appointment. Once the affected tooth is numb, Dr. Wiener will remove the decay/damage and reshape the remaining healthy tooth structure. The area will then be thoroughly cleaned and the composite restoration will be placed. The new filling will be shaped, polished and equilibrated to your bite, returning your tooth to a healthy shape and it’s full function.
Your teeth are restored to a natural look and feel, they are stronger and the tooth is protected!
